My name is Anna Ruby Waxham Blackwell, say that three times fast. I completed a master’s degree at the University of Washington in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I work at Seattle World School, a school for immigrants and refugees, as a bilingual instructional assistant.
Things I feel passionate about include exploring the world, reading good books, learning and speaking new languages, eating and cooking tasty food, hiking and biking, and teaching young people so that they can better navigate this crazy, beautiful world.
When not living out of my beloved backpack, I can be found in the Seattle area. If you wander around this website, you’ll find information about some of my projects and interests such as: translation, and some favorite photos and blog posts. If you’d like to get in touch with me, please don’t hesitate to email annarubywb@gmail.com.
